Test A: Door Ajar Input

TEST A: DOOR AJAR INPUT

Condition

Left Door

⁽¹⁾ BCM Display

Enter Diagnostic Mode, Select BI03

Closed

⁽²⁾ HI

Enter Diagnostic Mode, Select BI03

Open

⁽³⁾ LO

⁽¹⁾	If BCM displays are correct, go to TEST A: DOOR AJAR INPUT TABLE 2 .

⁽²⁾	If BCM display is incorrect, perform Self Diagnostics System Check. See SELF-DIAGNOSTICS -- ALLANTE article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE.

⁽³⁾	If BCM display is not correct, check left door jamb switch and wiring for an open. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .

TEST A: DOOR AJAR INPUT

Condition

Right Door

⁽¹⁾ BCM Display

Enter Diagnostic Mode, Select BI04

Closed

⁽²⁾ HI

Enter Diagnostic Mode, Select BI04

Open

⁽³⁾ LO

⁽¹⁾	If BCM displays are correct, do Test TEST B: RAP RELAY 1 TABLE 1 and TEST C: RAP RELAY 2

⁽²⁾	If BCM display is incorrect, perform Self Diagnostics System Check. See SELF-DIAGNOSTICS -- ALLANTE article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE.

⁽³⁾	If BCM display is incorrect, check right Door Jamb Switch and wiring for an open. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
