Body Computer Module (BCM): Removal

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Remove combo panel. See COMBO-PANEL (CLIMATE CONTROL DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER & SOUND SYSTEM)  .
  3. Remove retaining screw and pull BCM and mounting bracket out of cavity. See Fig 1 .
  4. Disconnect electrical connectors.
  5. Remove two nuts securing BCM to mounting bracket and mounting bracket from BCM.
  6. Remove bushings from bottom of BCM, and BCM from vehicle.
