Removal & Installation

- Before proceeding, disable air bag system. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS - DEVILLE, ELDORADO & SEVILLE.
- Remove driver's hush panel. Remove left knee bolster trim panel by grasping top and bottom and pull rearward to disengage retainers. Remove knee bolster trim vehicle.
- Remove bolts attaching steering column to instrument panel to lower steering column. Disconnect steering column module connectors. See Figure . Loosen steering column module retaining screw and slide out of bracket.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. After installation, steering column module must be programmed. See PROGRAMMING .
