Engine Control Module (ECM): Removal

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove under hood fuse/relay box cover. Firmly grasp ECM and slide unit straight up and out of fuse/relay box. See Figure .
  2. Flip release levers and disconnect ECM from harness connectors. Remove ECM from backing plate.
