Diagnostic Procedure

  1. If diagnostic system check has been performed, go to next step. If diagnostic system check has not been performed, perform VEHICLE THEFT DETERRENT DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
  2. NOTE: If a 10 minute or 30 minute relearn procedure is performed, all keys not learned at that time will be erased and will not be recognized. All additional keys should be learned during relearn procedure.
  3. Perform programming theft deterrent system components procedure. See PROGRAMMING  . After programming, go to next step.
  4. Using scan tool, clear all DTCs. Operate vehicle within conditions for running DTC, see Code Enable Criteria  . Using scan tool, check for DTCs. If DTC B3031 is set as a current DTC, go to step  2 . If DTC B3031 is not set as current, system is okay.
