Using Tech 2 Scan Tool

NOTE: This procedure is written strictly for Tech 2 scan tool. A generic scan tool may be used, but may have limited capabilities.

To enter programming using Tech 2, perform these following steps:

Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located below left side of instrument panel, near steering column.
Turn ignition switch to RUN position.
Select correct vehicle and model year.
Select body.
Select personalization.
Select set options.
Select Driver #1 memory recall or Driver #2 memory recall.
Select on of these options: auto exit driver seat, key in IGN recall driver seat, remote entry recall driver seat, recall exit on RKE unlock.
Press ENTER to turn option on or off. (An asterisk appears next to current options).
Exit from menu.
Select DRIVER #1 auto exit seat or DRIVER #2 auto exit seat.
Highlight auto exit seat and press ENTER button to turn selection on or off. (An asterisk appears next to feature turned on.).
Exit from menu.
