July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Checking Fluid Levels

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
  2. Clean any dirt from around fluid fill plug (1). See Fig 1 or Fig 2 .
  3. Remove transmission fluid fill plug and washer.
  4. Check that transmission fluid level is even with bottom of fill plug hole. See Fig 3 .
  5. Add appropriate transmission fluid, if necessary. See RECOMMENDED FLUIDS  .
  6. Install transmission fluid fill plug and washer (1). See Fig 1 or Fig 2 . Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  7. Lower the vehicle.
