Installation Procedure

    Windshield Wiper System Module (2) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Windshield Wiper System Module Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications 
  3. Position the wiring harness and connect the harness retainers and the electrical connector.
    NOTE:

    Ensure the wiring harness is reinstalled in its original fasting location. If the wire harness is not retained and falls into the motion path of the wiper linkage, damage to the wire harness may occur and the wiper system will not operate as intended.

  4. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

    Windshield Wiper System Module Shield (1) - Install

  6. Carefully install and reconnect windshield wiper park position heater harness.

    Air Inlet Grille Panel - Right Side (2) - Install

    Windshield Washer Nozzle Hose @ Windshield Washer Nozzle Extension Hose - Connect

  9. Air Inlet Grille Panel Retainer (1) - Install [4x]

    Air Inlet Grille Panel Retainer (1) - Install [2x]

    Front Compartment Side Sight Shield - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install [2x]

    Front Compartment Rear Access Cover (2) - Install

    NOTE:

    Clean the windshield wiper transmission pivot shaft splines with a soft wire brush before installing the windshield wiper arm (3).

  15. Position the windshield wiper arms (3) on the windshield wiper transmission pivot shafts.
    16. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  16. Windshield Wiper Arm Nut - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications 
  17. Windshield Wiper Arm Finish Cap - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]

    If required, realign the windshield wipers to their respective alignment circles (1) on the windshield.

  19. Lubricate the windshield with clean washer fluid.
  20. Run the windshield wipers for two complete cycles then turn off the windshield wipers.
  21. Ensure the windshield wipers are in the full park position.
