Removal Procedure

NOTE:

Use a flat-bladed plastic tool to remove the push-in retainers (1) from both air inlet grille panel extensions (2).
Air Inlet Grille Panel Retainer (1) - Remove [4x]

Air Inlet Grille Panel Extension - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [2x]

Using the appropriate trim tool, remove the windshield wiper arm finish caps (1) from the windshield wiper arms (3).
Windshield Wiper Arm Nut - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [2x]
Use the J - 39822 Wiper Arm Puller to remove both wiper arms (3) from the wiper motor pivot shafts.

Front Compartment Sight Shield Retainer (1) - Release [6x]
Front Compartment Rear Access Cover (2) - Remove

Reposition windshield wiper park position heater harness by disconnecting foil connector and removing harness retainer from the windshield wiper system module shield (1).
