Circuit/System Verification
- Vehicle Power Mode State: Service/Run
- Observe and compare the battery energy control module scan tool data parameter 14V Power Module Feedback to the typical scan tool data table. Verify the 14V power Module Feedback Parameter displays 10%.
- If a high voltage concern is indicated, fully Disable the high voltage
and ensure all high voltage connectors were properly and fully mated. High voltage connector terminals should be inspected for arc flash damage. High Voltage Disabling
- If other than 10% is displayed, diagnose and repair the observed condition before continuing.
- Go to next step: If 10% is Displayed
- Verify DTC P1F59, P1F5A, P1F5B, P1F5D, or P1F5E is not set
- If any of the DTCs are set
Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
- Go to next step: If no DTC is set
- If any of the DTCs are set
- Vehicle Power Mode State: OFF
- Measure and record the C1 battery voltage at the C1 battery terminals. The C1 battery voltage should stabilize between 12.4 and 12.8 V after 12 minutes of turning the vehicle OFF.
- If not in the specified range
Refer to Battery Inspection/Test .
- Go to next step: If within the specified range
- If not in the specified range
- Vehicle Power Mode State: Service/run , accessories OFF.
- Measure and record the C1 battery voltage at the C1 battery terminals. The voltage should be at least 1 V greater than the voltage measured in step 1 but less than 15 V.
- If not in the specified range
Refer to Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If within the specified range
- If not in the specified range
- All OK.
