Automatic Trigger

When automatic trigger is selected, TECH 1 captures data that may vary from normal operating conditions, but when used alone, will not set a trouble code. For example, when driving over rough terrain, wheel speed sensor may change rapidly or drop out due to loose wire connections. Using automatic trigger, data will be stored when TECH 1 recognizes wheel speed sensor signal deviated from the normal range. While TECH 1 is waiting for trigger, the ENTER or F9 button may also be used to force a trigger display of stored information as explained under MANUAL TRIGGER. When displaying information, the cause of the trigger can be displayed using F3 button.
