Manual Trigger
When manual trigger is selected, TECH 1 will wait for the ENTER or F9 button to be pressed before taking a snapshot and displaying wheel speed sensor information. When TECH 1 is waiting for the ENTER or F9 button to be pressed, a "W" will appear in lower right corner. While waiting for the trigger, it continuously stores ABS speed sensor data. Up to 81 samples of ABS data can be stored before the trigger and 81 samples after the trigger. Oldest data will be discarded.
When ENTER or F9 button is pressed, wheel speed sensor data will be stored and a "T" will be displayed. When data storage is full, the data point at the time ENTER button is pressed will be displayed by a ")". To view speed information stored, use UP ARROW and DOWN ARROW buttons. Numbers displayed will indicate a sample number relative to the trigger. If a "+1" is indicated, this is the first sample after ENTER button is pressed. If a "-1" is indicated, this is the first sample preceding the time when ENTER button is pressed. By pressing UP or DOWN buttons, all of stored data can be displayed to determine if problem exists. While displaying data, selecting the F7 button will convert English to Metric, and the ENTER button will convert number in lower right corner to time in seconds.
