Cruise Control system operation depends on accurate signals from the VCM. Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) calibrator is an integral part of VCM. If VCM is not calibrated for axle ratio and tire size, it must be replaced. See REMOVE/INSTALL/OVERHAUL
