Operational Range

Transmitter is in range when located to either side of vehicle or behind vehicle within 50-100 ft. (manual mode) or 5-25 ft. (passive mode) of vehicle. Operational range is considerably less in passive mode as compared with manual mode. See Fig 1 . Operational range varies with orientation of transmitter. For best performance, hold transmitter vertically with buttons facing you and bottom of transmitter towards vehicle. As useful battery life decreases, so will operational range of transmitter. Replace transmitter battery when operational range has severely decreased.
