Both Mirrors Inoperative

  1. Check fuse No. 19 (10-amp) for open. If fuse is okay, go to next step. If fuse is open, repair short to ground in Orange wire between fuse block and power mirror switch. Replace fuse, recheck system operation.
  2. Using test light, backprobe between power mirror switch connector C1, terminal "F" (Orange wire) and ground. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair poor connections or open in Orange wire between power mirror switch and fuse block.
  3. Backprobe between power mirror switch connector C1, terminals "F" (Orange wire) and "D" (Black wire). If test light illuminates, check for poor connections at power mirror switch. If connections are okay, replace power mirror switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If test light does not illuminate, repair poor connections or open in Black wire between power mirror switch and ground.
