One Mirror Inoperative In Up/Down Position
- If left mirror is inoperative, go to next step. If right mirror is inoperative, go to step 4).
- Disconnect left power mirror 4-pin connector. Connect test light between left mirror harness connector terminal "A" (Yellow wire) and ground. With left mirror selected, move power mirror switch to UP position. If test light illuminates, go to step 5). If test light does not illuminate, go to next step.
- Check for poor connection or open in Yellow wire between power mirror switch and left power mirror. Repair as necessary. If circuit is okay, replace power mirror switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system operation.
- Disconnect right power mirror 4-pin connector. Connect test light between right mirror harness connector terminal "A" (Brown/White wire) and ground. With right mirror selected, move power mirror switch to UP position. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 6).
- Replace power mirror motor pack. See POWER MIRROR DRIVE MOTOR under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system operation.
- Check for poor connection or open in Brown/White wire between power mirror switch and right power mirror. Repair as necessary. If circuit is okay, replace power mirror switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system operation.
