Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair




Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor electrical connector (2).
2. Remove the bolt (3) from the CKP sensor and the oil pan.
3. Remove the CKP sensor (1) from the oil pan.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the CKP sensor to the oil pan.
2. Secure the CKP sensor to the oil pan with one bolt and tighten to 15 Nm (11 lb ft).
3. Connect the CKP sensor electrical connector.
