Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair





Removal Procedure
1. Remove the Fuel Tank from the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the two bolts (1) and the fuel tank pressure sensor (2) from the fuel tank.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the fuel tank pressure sensor to the fuel tank.

NOTE: Install the fuel tank pressure sensor to the fuel tank with the sensor terminals facing the fuel level sensor (gauge) side.

2. Secure the fuel tank pressure sensor with the two bolts and tighten to 1.2 to 2.0 Nm (11 to 18 lb in).
3. Connect the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector.
4. Install the fuel tank to the vehicle.
