One Power Mirror Inoperative

  1. If left-side power mirror is inoperative, go to next step. If right-side power mirror is inoperative, go to step 7).
  2. Disconnect left-side power mirror harness connector. Connect test light between left-side power mirror harness connector terminal "B" (Light Green wire) and ground. Using mirror select switch, select left-side power mirror. Move and hold power mirror switch in LEFT position. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 4).
  3. Replace left-side power mirror motor. See POWER MIRROR MOTOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system operation.
  4. Check for poor connection or open in Light Green wire between left-side power mirror and power mirror switch. If circuit is not okay, go to next step. If circuit is okay, go to step 6).
  5. Repair poor connection or open in Light Green wire between left-side power mirror and power mirror switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Recheck system operation.
  6. Replace power mirror switch. Recheck system operation.
  7. Disconnect right-side power mirror harness connector. Connect test light between right-side power mirror harness connector terminal "B" (Light Blue/White wire) and ground. Using mirror select switch, select right-side power mirror. Move and hold power mirror switch in LEFT position. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 9).
  8. Replace right-side power mirror motor. See POWER MIRROR MOTOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system operation.
  9. Check for poor connection or open in Light Blue/White wire between right-side power mirror and power mirror switch. If circuit is not okay, go to next step. If circuit is okay, go to step 6).
  10. Repair poor connection or open in Light Blue/White wire between right-side power mirror and power mirror switch. Recheck system operation.
