Removal Procedure

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (Notchback) or Front Floor Console Replacement (Hatchback) .
- Disconnect the control module/receiver electrical connector.
- Slide the control module/receiver away from its mounting bracket.
CAUTION:
Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution

IMPORTANT:
Remote keyless transmitters must be programmed when remote control module/receiver is replaced.
