Installation Procedure

  1. Install the CKP sensor (2).
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the CKP sensor bolt (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the CKP sensor bolt (1) to 4.5 N.m (39.8 lb in).

  3. Install the starter. Refer to Starter Replacement (1.4L LDT, 1.6 LXV) .
  4. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
