Removal Procedure

    Fig 1: View Of Lower And Upper Steering Column Covers

  1. Remove the upper and lower steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement (Telescoping)  or Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement (Manual) .
    2. Fig 2: Wire Harness Straps & Steering Column Tilt Head Assembly

  2. Remove the wire harness straps (2) from the steering column tilt head assembly (1) and the column.

  3. Remove the wire harness assembly (1) from the wire harness strap (2).

  4. Remove the 2 pan head tapping screws (1).
