Installation Procedure

  1. Install Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Assembly (1)

    CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

  2. Install Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Nut (1) (Qty: 3) and tighten to 7 N.m (62 lb in)

  3. Install Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe Fitting (1) and tighten to 32 N.m (24 lb ft)

  4. Install Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Secondary Pipe Fitting (1) and tighten to 32 N.m (24 lb ft)

  5. Install Left Rear Brake Pipe Fitting (1) and tighten to 18 N.m (13 lb ft)

  6. Install Right Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) and tighten to 18 N.m (13 lb ft)

  7. Install Left Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) and tighten to 18 N.m (13 lb ft)

  8. Install Right Rear Brake Pipe Fitting (1) and tighten to 18 N.m (13 lb ft)
  9. Connect the EBCM electrical connector.
  10. Bleed the brake system. Antilock Brake System Automated Bleed 
  11. Install Plenum Front Panel Replacement
  12. Program the EBCM. Electronic Brake Control Module Programming and Setup
  13. Calibrate the BPMV pressure sensor. Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Pressure Sensor Calibration 
  14. Center the steering angle sensor. Steering Angle Sensor Centering
