Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Fuel Tank

  1. Place a suitable adjustable jack under the fuel tank.
  2. Install Fuel Tank (1)
    3. Fig 2: Fuel Tank Strap Bolt

  3. Install Fuel Tank Strap (2) (Qty: 2)
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Install Fuel Tank Strap Bolt (1) (Qty: 4) to 27 N.m (20 lb ft)

  5. Connect Evaporative Emission Canister Filter Pipe (6) at Evaporative Emission Canister (5) - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 
  6. Connect Fuel Feed Pipe (3) at Fuel Feed Pipe (4) - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 
  7. Connect Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Pipe (1) at Evaporative Emission Pipe (2) - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service

  8. Install Fuel Tank Filler Hose (5) at Fuel Tank (4)
  9. Install Fuel Tank Filler Hose Clamp (6) to 4 N.m (35 lb in)
  10. Connect Fuel Tank Vent Pipe (2) at Fuel Tank Filler Pipe (3) - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 
  11. Connect Wiring Harness (1)
  12. Install Exhaust Muffler Replacement (Dual Exhaust)Exhaust Muffler Replacement (Single Exhaust)
  13. Install { If equipped } Underbody Rear Air Deflector Replacement - Right Side (XFE)
  14. Refill the fuel tank.
  15. Inspect for fuel leaks.
