Installation Procedure

  1. If replacing the engine control module, reprogram the module. Control Module References
    2. Fig 1: Engine Control Module Bracket Retaining Tabs

  2. Install Engine Control Module (3)
  3. Install Engine Control Module Cover (2)
  4. Engage Engine Control Module Bracket Retaining Tabs (1) (Qty: 2)

  5. Install Engine Control Module And Bracket Assembly (2)
    6. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  6. Install Engine Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) to 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  7. Connect Electrical Connector at Engine Control Module
  8. Connect Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9)
  9. Perform the gear selector position learn procedure. Gear Selector -N- Position Learn
