Theft Deterrent Module Replacement

WARNING: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning .

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the steering column lower trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Replacement .
  2. Disconnect battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
1 Theft Deterrent Module Screw (Qty: 2)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten 
3 N.m (27 lb in)
2 Theft Deterrent Module

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  2. Carefully unclip the bracket from ignition key housing.
