WARNING: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning . Preliminary Procedure Remove the steering column lower trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Replacement . Disconnect battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
1	Theft Deterrent Module Screw (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 3 N.m (27 lb in)
2	Theft Deterrent Module Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. Carefully unclip the bracket from ignition key housing.

Preliminary Procedure

Remove the steering column lower trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Replacement .
Disconnect battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .

Theft Deterrent Module Screw (Qty: 2)

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
3 N.m (27 lb in)

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Carefully unclip the bracket from ignition key housing.
