Installation Procedure

    Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Insulator (2) - Install NEW [2x]

  2. Electronic Brake Control Module with Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (1) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket - Install

    Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Insulator Washer (2) - Install NEW [2x]

  4. Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Insulator Nut (1) - Install NEW [2x]
  5. Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Insulator Nut (1) - Tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Electronic Brake Control Module with Brake Pressure Modulator Valve and Bracket Assembly (2) @ Vehicle - Install

  7. Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Nut (1) @ Front Compartment Inner Side Rail - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Nut (1) @ Front Wheel House Panel - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Body Wiring Harness Clip (3) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket - Install

  10. Electrical Connector (1) @ Electronic Brake Control Module (2) - Connect

    Body Wiring Harness Clip (1) - Install

    WARNING:

    Make sure brake pipes are correctly connected to brake pressure modulator valve. If brake pipes are switched by mistake, wheel lockup will occur and personal injury may result. The only two ways this condition can be detected are by using a Scan Tool or by doing an Antilock stop.

    Brake Pipe Fitting (1) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (2) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    WARNING:

    Make sure brake pipes are correctly connected to brake pressure modulator valve. If brake pipes are switched by mistake, wheel lockup will occur and personal injury may result. The only two ways this condition can be detected are by using a Scan Tool or by doing an Antilock stop.

    NOTE:

    Make sure that the electronic brake control module is fully seated into the grommets after the brake pipes are tightened.

    Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Rear Pipe Fitting (2) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (3) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications 

  14. Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Front Pipe Fitting (1) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (3) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Heater Coolant Surge Tank (2) - Install

  16. Heater Coolant Surge Tank Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Drive Motor Battery Positive and Negative Cable (2) - Install

  18. Retainer (3) - Attach
  19. Clip (5) - - Install
  20. Connect the drive motor battery positive and negative cable (2) to the high voltage battery disconnect control module assembly (4) and heater coolant heater assembly (1).

    Accessory DC Power Control Module High Voltage Connector Protector (2) - Install

  22. Accessory DC Power Control Module High Voltage Connector Protector Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications [2x]
  23. Enable the high voltage system. High Voltage Enabling
  24. Program the electronic brake control module. Control Module References
  25. Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding
  26. Calibrate the brake pressure modulator valve pressure sensor. Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Pressure Sensor Calibration
