Wheel Speed Sensor
- Disconnect the harness connector from the appropriate wheel speed sensor.
- Using a digital volt/ohmmeter, measure the resistance through the wheel speed sensor.
- The resistance specification should be 900-1300 ohms.
- Replace the sensor if the resistance is not within specifications.
- Using dial indicator, check tone wheel runout. It may be necessary to replace front axle shaft components if tone wheel runout exceeds .006" (.15 mm).
