Cylinder Head Bolts Step 1 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.)
Cylinder Head Bolts Step 2 88 Nm (65 ft. lbs.)
Cylinder Head Bolts Step 3 88 Nm (65 ft. lbs.)
Cylinder Head Bolts Step 4 + 1/4 Turn (+ 1/4 Turn)

HEAD BOLT REUSE/REPLACE

CAUTION: The cylinder head bolts are tightened using a torque plus angle procedure. The bolts must be examined BEFORE reuse. If the threads are necked down the bolts must be replaced.

SURFACE VARIATION - HEAD-TO-BLOCK

Cylinder head must be flat within:
Standard dimension = less than 0.05 mm (0.002 inch.)
Service Limit = 0.2 mm (0.008 inch.)
Grinding Limit = Maximum of 0.2 mm (0.008 inch.) is permitted.

Deck surface must be within service limit of 0.1 mm (0.004 in.)
