Module, Occupant Restraint Controller: Installation: Module

- Connect the two ORC connectors (4 and 5) and ensure that the connectors are engaged.
- Position ORC (3) (arrow pointing forward) on the console floor bracket and mounting studs (1).
- Install the three ORC retaining nuts (2) and tighten to 9 N.m (79.5 in. lbs.).
- Install the center console. Refer to HOUSING, SHIFTER, INSTALLATION .
- Do not reconnect the negative cable to the battery at this time. The Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Verification Test procedure should be performed following service of any SRS component.
