Global Telematics Box Module

REMOVAL 

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the Integrated Center Stack (ICS) from the instrument panel cover. Refer to MODULE, INTEGRATED CENTER STACK (ICSM), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Disconnect the wire harness connectors from the Global Telematics Box Module (TBM2).

    4 - Mounting Bracket
  4. Remove the screws from the TBM2 mounting bracket that secure the TBM2 to the bracket.
  5. Remove the TBM2 from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION 

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle. The steps listed below are calling out specific procedures that should be followed during installation.
