Exterior Light Test 2C - Inoperative Low Beam Headlight Control Circuit

NOTE: Perform EXTERIOR LIGHT TEST 2A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform, after each repair, VERIFICATION TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  .
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Disconnect Body Control Module (BCM) "B" connector. See Figure . Connect jumper wire between ground and terminal al No. 76 (Light Green/Red wire) on BCM "B" connector. If headlights illuminate, replace BCM. If headlights don't illuminate, go to next step.
  2. With jumper wire connected, remove low beam relay from Power Distribution Center (PDC). Using external ohmmeter, measure resistance between ground and terminal "C" on relay connector. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair open Light Green/Red wire. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, replace low beam relay.
