Interior Light Test 4A - Courtesy Lights Inoperative With Dome Light Switch
NOTE:
Perform INTERIOR LIGHT TEST 1A
before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION

. Perform, after each repair, VERIFICATION TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE

CAUTION:
Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
- Rotate headlight switch to dome light position. Using scan tool, read dome lamp switch. If scan tool displays DOME LAMP SWITCH: CLOSED, replace Body Control Module (BCM). BCM is located with junction block under driver's side instrument panel. See Figure . If scan tool does not display DOME LAMP SWITCH: CLOSED, go to next step.
- Gain access to back of headlight switch. Do not disconnect connectors. Connect jumper wire between terminal No. 4 (Black/Light Blue wire) on 13-pin connector. If courtesy lights illuminate, replace headlight switch. If courtesy lights do not illuminate, go to next step.
- Access junction block connector "A". See Figure . Connect jumper wire between ground and terminal No. 2 (Black/Light Blue wire) on connector "A". If courtesy lights illuminate, repair open Black/Light Blue wire. If courtesy lights do not illuminate, replace BCM.
