Instrument Cluster Test 4A - Identifying Warning Light Problems
NOTE:
Perform INSTRUMENT CLUSTER TEST 1A
before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION
. For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS
. Perform, after each repair, VERIFICATION TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE

CAUTION:
Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
- Turn ignition switch to UNLOCK position. Observe instrument cluster. Turn ignition on. Indicator lights should illuminate for 2-3 seconds. Using scan tool, actuate ALL SEGMENTS test.
- If any segments in odometer or PRNDL fail to illuminate, replace instrument cluster display. If any warning lights fail to illuminate, go to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER TEST 4B . Identify problem(s) and perform indicated test(s) in WARNING LIGHT SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC TEST DIRECTORY table.
