Input State Tests
- Scan tool may be used to monitor a specified component input state. Component input state is then compared to a normal operating input state to determine if component is operating properly.
- Use scan tool to monitor specified component input state under specified operating condition. See INPUT STATE TESTS table.
- Specified component input state should be within specified normal operating input state. See INPUT STATE TESTS table. If component operating input state is not within normal operating input state, perform specified Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) test or specified No Trouble Code (NTC) test under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS.
