WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2000 Chrysler Town & Country. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE:
When a new RKE transmitter is programmed, MSMM will clear memory and set seat to full back and down position. Seat and mirror positions must be reset.
Memory Seat and Mirror Module (MSMM) communicates with the RKE system via the PCI bus (Violet/Yellow wire). See WIRING DIAGRAMS . MSMM settings can be programmed and recalled by the RKE system. To program RKE system for memory recall, perform following procedure:
- Set memory seat to desired position. See MEMORY SYSTEM under OPERATION.
- Press and release memory selector switch No. 1 button. Press and release LOCK button on one of the RKE transmitters. Do not press any buttons for 10 seconds.
To set RKE transmitter for memory position No. 2, repeat procedure and substitute memory selector switch No. 1 button with memory selector switch No. 2 button. To set memory recall for additional RKE transmitters, repeat procedure.
