Driver Door Fails To Lock From Any Switch

  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Remove drive door unlock relay from fuse and relay box located next to Junction Block (JB). Disconnect Central Timer Module (CTM) connector C2. Measure resistance between ground and driver door unlock relay control circuit at CTM connector C2 terminal No. 7 (Red/Black wire). If reading is less than 100 ohms, repair short to ground in Red/Black wire. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  . If reading is more than 100 ohms, go to next step.
  2. Substitute a known-good door unlock relay. Restore any previously disconnected components. Retest system. If door locks operate as designed, replace door unlock relay. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  . If condition remains, go to next step.
  3. Replace CTM with a known-good unit and retest. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  . See COMPONENT LOCATIONS  . Restore any previously disconnected components. Replace CTM as necessary. If problem exists with know-good CTM, repeat testing or go to related procedure for other symptoms present. See SYMPTOMS INDEX DIRECTORY  table. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  .
