Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove wiper arms and blades, and disconnect hoses from in-line connectors. See WIPER ARMS  . Ensure in-line connectors are retained for reassembly. Remove rear hood seal with cowl top plastic screen, and disconnect washer hose at in-line connector. Retain in-line connector.
  2. Remove strut crossbrace. Remove wiper module assembly bolts. Lift assembly and disconnect wiring. Remove assembly. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure wiper module assembly and motor are in park position before installing wiper arms and blades. See WIPER ARMS  under ADJUSTMENTS. See Figure .
