Engine Control Module: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the ECM harness connectors. See Fig 1.
  3. Grasp ECM and pull down firmly to release ECM from the retaining bracket tensioning springs. See Fig 1.
