Function Control Cable

  1. Move function control lever to defrost position. Insert Cable Locating Key (E7GH-18C408-A) through function control cam key slot and heater case key boss opening to secure cam in proper position. See Fig 1 .
  2. Remove trim panel under glove box. Disconnect cable from retaining clip next to function control cam. Ensure lever is fully in defrost position, and reconnect cable to retaining clip. Remove locating key. Ensure lever operates through its full range of travel on control panel. Install trim panel.
