Control Valve Housing: Disassembly

  1. After removing control valve from gear unit, remove dust seal from rear of valve housing using Puller Attachment (T58L-101-B) and Slide Hammer (T59L-100-B). Discard dust seal. Remove snap ring from valve housing. See Fig 1 .
  2. Turn valve housing over. Insert Driver Handle (T65P-3524-A2) and Bearing/Seal Remover (T65-3524-A3). Tap bearing and seal out of housing. Discard oil seal. If inlet tube seats are damaged, remove seats using Tube Seat Remover (T74P-3504-L).
