Transmission Control Module

- Disconnect negative battery cable. Locate TCM behind instrument cluster, to right side of steering column. Disconnect smart entry control timer module connectors. Disconnect TCM harness connectors. See Fig 1 .
- Remove module bracket bolts. Remove harness retaining clips. Disconnect smart entry control timer module from TCM. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bracket bolts to 44 INCH Lbs. (5 N.m).
