Component Locations

RESTRAINT SYSTEM COMPONENT LOCATIONS

Component (1) Location
Clockspring On steering column, behind steering wheel
Dual-stage driver-side air bag module Center of steering wheel
Dual-stage passenger-side air bag module Right side of instrument panel, above glove box
Front crash sensor Under hood latch bracket
Front side crash sensors Under front seats, beneath carpet
Occupant Classification Sensor (OCS) Under left front seat cushion
Restraints control module On tunnel, under center console
Rear side crash sensors(2) Base of right and left C-pillars
Seat belt buckle switches Integrated with front seat belt buckles
Seat belt pretensioners Integrated with front seat belt buckles
Seat belt tension sensor Integrated with right front seat belt
Seat track position sensor On left front seat track frame
Side air bag modules(2) In front seat backs
Side air bag bridge resistors(3) On side air bag harness connectors
Side curtain air bag modules(2) Behind right and left sides of headliner, between A-pillar and C-pillar
Side curtain air bag bridge resistors(4) On side curtain air bag harness connectors
(1) See Fig 1 & Fig 2 .
(2) If equipped.
(3) On models not equipped with side air bags.
(4) On models not equipped with side curtain air bags.
