Component Locations

RESTRAINT SYSTEM COMPONENT LOCATIONS

Component (1) Location
Clockspring On steering column, behind steering wheel
Dual-stage driver-side air bag module Center of steering wheel
Dual-stage passenger-side air bag module Right side of instrument panel, above glove box
Front impact crash sensor Front center of vehicle, behind front grille
Occupant classification sensor(2) Under right front seat cushion
Restraints Control Module (RCM) Center tunnel, behind utility compartment at lower center of instrument panel
Seat belt pretensioners Integrated with seat belt retractor assembly
Seat belt switch Integrated with seat belt buckle assembly
Seat track position sensor Under driver front seat, on outboard side of seat track
Side air bag crash sensors On floor, beneath carpet, under front seats
Side air bag modules Behind outboard bolster of front seat backs
