Toe-In Adjustment: Front

Start the engine and center the steering wheel. Turn the engine off, and hold the steering wheel in the "straight forward" position by attaching a rigid link from the steering wheel to the brake pedal. Loosen the tie rod sleeve clamp nuts. See Fig 1 . Clean and lubricate the tie rod end threads. Rotate the adjusting sleeves to obtain the correct toe setting. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS  . Position the adjusting sleeve clamps within the horizontal and vertical limits. See Fig 2 . Tighten the tie rod sleeve clamp nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Recheck the toe settings.
