Removal & Installation
WARNING:

CAUTION:
Fuel pump modules must be handled carefully to avoid damage to float arm and filter during removal. Fuel modules will contain residual fuel. Lift straight up and out of tank to drain remaining fuel out of reservoir. Drain excess fuel into suitable container.
NOTE:
Fuel pump module may also be referred to as Fuel Pump Delivery Module (FPDM).
- Remove fuel tank. See FUEL TANK . Clean area around fuel pump module mounting flange. Remove fuel pump module assembly flange bolts. See Fig 1.
- Lift the fuel pump, carefully detach the fuel float arm and remove the fuel pump from the fuel tank. See Fig 2. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Install a new fuel pump "O" ring.
