DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition SOBDMB P0A7A:96 Generator Inverter Performance: Component Internal Failure This DTC sets when the module detects an internal hardware issue. Possible Sources
- Secondary Inverter System Controller (S-ISC)
- AB1 CHECK FOR SECONDARY INVERTER SYSTEM CONTROLLER (S-ISC) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
- Ignition ON.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, run the Secondary Inverter System Controller (S-ISC) self-test.
Are any Secondary Inverter System Controller (S-ISC) DTCs other than P0A78:96 present?
Yes DIAGNOSE all other Secondary Inverter System Controller (S-ISC) DTCs. REFER to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Chart . No GO to AB2 - AB2 CLEAR AND READ THE SECONDARY INVERTER SYSTEM CONTROLLER (S-ISC) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
- CLEAR the Secondary Inverter System Controller (S-ISC) DTCs.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, run the Secondary Inverter System Controller (S-ISC) self-test.
Is DTC P0A7A:96 the only DTC from the Secondary Inverter System Controller (S-ISC)?
Yes CHECK OASIS for any applicable service articles: TSB, GSB, SSM or FSA. If a service article exists for this concern, DISCONTINUE this test and FOLLOW the service article instructions. If no service articles address this concern, INSTALL a new Secondary Inverter System Controller (S-ISC). REFER to: Inverter System Controller [SOBDMB] . No DIAGNOSE all other Secondary Inverter System Controller (S-ISC) DTCs. REFER to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Chart .
