DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition SOBDMB P060A:4A Internal Control Module Monitoring Processor Performance: Incorrect Component Installed This DTC sets with other DTCs due to external wiring issues, and sets alone when an internal error occurs. Possible Sources
- Secondary Inverter System Controller (S-ISC) calibration
- Secondary Inverter System Controller (S-ISC)
- Intermittent low voltage wiring concern
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- E1 CHECK FOR SECONDARY INVERTER SYSTEM CONTROLLER (S-ISC) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)NOTE: P060A:4A very commonly sets with (and due to) many other S-ISC DTCs, it would be very rare to see these DTCs alone.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the Secondary Inverter System Controller (S-ISC) self-test.
Are any Secondary Inverter System Controller (S-ISC) DTCs other than P060A:44 present?
Yes DIAGNOSE all other Secondary Inverter System Controller (S-ISC) DTCs, REFER to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Chart . No For DTC P060A:44 only GO to E2 - E2 VERIFY THE SECONDARY INVERTER SYSTEM CONTROLLER (S-ISC) CALIBRATION LEVEL
- Verify the Secondary Inverter System Controller (S-ISC) is at the latest calibration level.
Is the Secondary Inverter System Controller (S-ISC) at the latest calibration level?
Yes GO to E3 No UPDATE the Secondary Inverter System Controller (S-ISC) to the latest calibration level. - E3 CLEAR AND CHECK THE SECONDARY INVERTER SYSTEM CONTROLLER (S-ISC) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the Secondary Inverter System Controller (S-ISC) DTCs.
- Ignition OFF.
- Wait 5 minutes.
- Ignition ON.
- Wait 5 minutes.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the Secondary Inverter System Controller (S-ISC) self-test.
Is DTC P060A:4A present in the Secondary Inverter System Controller (S-ISC)?
Yes CHECK OASIS for any applicable service articles: TSB, GSB, SSM or FSA. If a service article exists for this concern, DISCONTINUE this test and FOLLOW the service article instructions. If no service articles address this concern, INSTALL a new Secondary Inverter System Controller (S-ISC). REFER to: Inverter System Controller [SOBDMB] . No The system is operating correctly at this time. The DTC may have been set due to high network traffic or an intermittent fault condition.
