Coolant Temperature Sensor (TW Sensor)

The TW sensor uses a temperature dependent diode (thermistor) to measure differences in coolant temperature. Basic discharge read out is by signals sent from this sensor through ECU. Resistance of thermistor decreases with a rise in coolant temperature.
