Intake Air Temperature Sensor (Ta Sensor)

The TA sensor is a thermistor and is placed in intake manifold. It acts much like coolant temperature sensor but with a reduced thermal capacity for quicker responses. Basic discharge duration read out from ECU memory is again compensated for different operating conditions by signal sent from TA sensor to ECU.
